Top Down is a study in control and perspective. The phrase itself suggests both authority and viewpoint — the gaze of systems looking down, and the flattening effect of seeing people, cities, or data from above. This collage cuts into that tension, layering fragments of design, advertising, and instruction into something uneasy yet magnetic. The visual language is crisp and directive, but the meaning slips away, resisting the order it pretends to enforce.
This is Paperpunk as critique: sharp, layered, and unapologetically questioning. Top Down turns media fragments into a visual argument about power and perspective, while keeping its playful, chaotic edge. It’s an arresting piece that draws viewers in and rewards close attention.
In 2024, this artwork was exhibited in the CONTENT exhibition that was held in Braemar Gallery (Springwood, NSW).
The artwork is framed behind glass with white matt and a black border, and is wired for immediate hanging.
The price listed also includes all postage via regular mail.
