Composed entirely from hand-cut magazine imagery — fashion, science, music, culture — this original collage is built on a timber panel and sealed beneath layers of gloss varnish. The surface gleams like plastic; the subject burns with ambition. A cool-blue face sits front and centre, eyes closed in resolve. A suited figure gestures skyward, past test patterns, colour strips, and planetary rings. It’s the language of progress, worn like a mission patch.
