This is the sacred rebranded — a high-gloss devotional for the digital age, where salvation is shrink-wrapped and spirituality arrives by post. Plastic Jesus toys with icons and idolatries, remixing the rituals of belief into something shinier, stranger, and more self-aware. Is it reverent? Ironic? Mass-produced? Yes.

Constructed from hand-cut imagery pulled from glossy magazines — culture, commerce, science and style — this collage is mounted on wood and finished with multiple coats of varnish, giving it a sleek, almost devotional gleam. It’s part relic, part roadside attraction — a lo-fi artefact from the Paperpunk parallel.

Plastic Jesus was an early sermon in the church of Paperpunk. The myth had to start somewhere.
